Network and security architecture
Rockwey designs networks around the way each client operates. We consider business requirements, existing infrastructure, security, budget and the long term cost of running the environment.
Our role is to guide the work from architecture through to production. We recommend technology because it fits the requirement, not simply because it is new.
Broadcast and media over IP

Security is designed into every network from the start. We help clients define segmentation, access controls, threat prevention and operational security appropriate to the environment and the risks it faces.
- Network segmentation and security zones
- Next generation firewall architecture
- Network access control
- Remote access and site connectivity
- Intrusion prevention
- Logging and security analytics
- Web and malware protection
- Security design reviews and risk assessments
Bid support
We support technology suppliers and delivery partners with the technical parts of complex bids. This can include solution architecture, design reviews, technical responses, delivery planning and challenge of vendor assumptions.
Automation and testing
Rockwey uses automation to generate, validate and deploy network configurations consistently. This reduces repetitive engineering work, improves traceability and lowers the risk of configuration errors.
We also test network designs before production. This includes functional validation, resilience testing, performance testing and evidence that the design behaves as intended.
Network engineering
We provide experienced network engineers and architects for defined projects, complex changes and periods where additional specialist capability is required. Our consultants can support design, implementation, migration, testing and operational handover.
